How does a machine Stenographer? I need to know the parts of the machine and what they do.?
I need to know what parts of a stenographer machine actually do, ie how the machine itself actually works.
It is the machine shorthand. Instead of using a regular (QWERTY) keyboard and typing a letter while writing the whole word or syllable at a time. The set of eight keys on the left are the beginning or initial consonant word or syllable. You then have the two keys will star in half. The last ten keys on the right are the final or final consonants of the word. The four keys on the bottom are vowels. The long bar across the top are numbers. There are many ways (called theories) to use the letters to form words.
